Greece, my home land,

is a long long way from Daytona Beach.

  My inspiration in creating Taverna was to recreate a slice of the atmosphere, ambience, and flavor of the beauty and intrigue of Greece to share with my friends and community.

All of the recipes served at our restaurant have been conceived by my mother and are what you might expect to be served if you were to come to dinner at her home in

Athens, Greece. 

  We take great pride and love in presenting to you what we consider to be peasant food. It is authentic and real - not what you would find anywhere else but at Taverna.
